Matawalle Praises Armed Forces of Nigeria for Strong Offensive Against Terrorists

The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Muhammed Matawalle, has offered his commendations for the ongoing efforts of the Armed Forces of Nigeria in combating terrorism, particularly in the states of Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, and Kaduna.

He expressed confidence that the days of the terrorists are numbered and that the nation will soon experience a return to uninterrupted peace.

Dr. Matawalle specifically lauded the precision of the Nigerian Armed Forces’ air strikes, which targeted terrorist strongholds in the Zurmi, Gusau, and Maradun Local Government Areas.

With prayers and support for our Military, very soon the Military will clear these states free from bandit attacks.”

These strikes resulted in the elimination of numerous terrorists and the destruction of their infrastructure, a significant blow to their operations.

Moreover, the Minister commended the Armed Forces for their clearance exercises in the aforementioned states, aimed at rooting out terrorist elements.

He emphasized the importance of continued support and prayers for the Military, expressing optimism that, with such backing, the affected states will soon be free from the scourge of bandit attacks.

Highlighting specific successes, Matawalle noted the successful identification and neutralization of camps belonging to prominent terrorist figures Abdullahi Nasanda and Mallam Tukur.
