Marvel Drops ‘Creed 3’ Star Jonathan Majors for Assault on Girlfriend

Creed III and Marvel star Jonathan Majors has been found guilty of assaulting his girlfriend Grace Jabbari in New York.

As a result, Grace experienced injuries including a fractured finger and bruising.

The altercation was triggered by a text message on his phone while they were in a car in March.

It read, ‘Wish I was kissing you right now.’

Prosecutors stated that when she tried to take his phone, he grabbed her, twisted her arm, and hit her in the head to retrieve it.

Ms. Jabbari testified she felt a hard blow.

Despite Majors’ lawyer arguing he was the victim, the jury found him guilty of two out of four domestic violence charges.

Consequently, Majors, known for his Marvel roles, was dropped from future Marvel projects, facing potential jail time.

His sentencing is scheduled for February, accompanied by a new protection order barring contact with Ms. Jabbari.

Jabbari had met Majors two years earlier on the set of ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,’ where she worked as a movement coach.

Following Majors’ arrest, Marvel decided to postpone the release of ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty,’ a film in which Majors was set to play the lead villain, until 2026. Marvel’s distancing from him could have an impact on his career.
