The Super Eagles head coach, Stephen Keshi has stated his boys’ readiness to trounce their South African counterpart in the Nelson Mandela Challenge match billed to take place this Wednesday (today).
Keshi who noted that he took the Bafana Bafana encounter with the Super Eagles with every seriousness, said his Boys’ cannot travel all the way to South Africa for a jamboree.
“Every match is important for us, especially against an important opponent like Bafana, so we won’t travel six hours from Nigeria to South Africa not to be committed to victory,” Keshi told News Agency of Nigeria.
He therefore enjoined Nigerians to pray for his boys, as only prayer can usher in the much needed result for Nigerians.
“Nigerians should pray for the boys to be in good health; if they are in good health they will be able to give Nigerians what they like to see, which is good football,” Keshi added.
The Mabhida Stadium encounter this Wednesday (today) , is expected to help Nigeria prepare for next month’s crucial World Cup qualifier against Malawi.
