As the 2024/25 Premier League season kicks off, Manchester United CEO Omar Berrada has addressed the fans with a heartfelt message, expressing his excitement and commitment to the club’s success.
Berrada, who took the reins as CEO late last year, shared his personal connection to the club, recalling stories of legendary players like Sir Bobby Charlton and George Best told by his father. He acknowledged the weight of history and the club’s DNA of overcoming adversity and achieving greatness.
The CEO highlighted the busy summer transfer window, welcoming new talents Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui, as well as the contract extensions of Bruno Fernandes and Erik ten Hag.
He also emphasized the strengthening of the football structure with the appointments of Dan Ashworth and Jason Wilcox.
Berrada expressed his privilege to be part of the Manchester United family and promised to prioritize the bond with supporters, ensuring they remain central to everything the club does.
He also touched on the regeneration of the Old Trafford area and the transformation of Carrington training facilities.
