Manchester loses at home to visiting Brighton

—

United suffered back-to-back defeats in the Premier League after losing to Arsenal before the International break and today to Brighton at Old Trafford. The Red Devils have lost three of their 5 games since the start of the season.

Danny Welbeck, a former United player, hunted the Red Devils, scoring Brighton’s first and only goal in the first half. Returning into the second half, Brighton continued their goal-scoring prowess with Gross and Joao Pedro adding more goals for the visitors, extending their lead to 3-0. Hannibal Mejbri who came in as a substitute, scored on his debut to help the United reduce the goals’ deficit to 3-1.

With just two wins and three losses, Erik ten Hag’s men are below 10th place in the Premier League log.
