Manchester Derby: City beat United to close gap with Liverpool

Manchester City dominated with Phil Foden scoring twice and Haaland adding a late goal to defeat Manchester United.

Despite an early lead by United from a Marcus Rashford goal, City came back to win 3-1. City controlled the game, with 74% possession in the first half and continued dominance in the second half. Foden’s goals in the 55th and 80th minutes turned the tide, giving City a 2-1 lead, and Haaland sealed the victory in extra time.

With this win, City now has 62 points, trailing just behind Liverpool, while Manchester United sits in 6th place with 45 points.
