Manchester City Returns to Summit of the Premier League Table

Manchester City bounced back to the top of the Premier League table following a decisive 4-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Croatia centre back Josko Gvardiol’s early strike separated the teams, initiating the lead for City.

Fulham maintained their resilience, holding City from adding more as the first half ended. In the 59th minute, Foden added another one, expanding the lead to 2-0.

Josko Gvardiol completed his brace by scoring another goal in the 71st minute. City took charge over Fulham completely in every stat; only when they thought the goals had stopped, Julian Alvarez netted the fourth as Manchester City smiled away with a 4-0 win and a clean sheet.

Knowing the importance of scoring many goals, City has not just overtaken Arsenal by two points; they have closed the gap on goal difference, with only two now separating the two teams.
