Report has it that a man identified as Abiodun Akintomowo has lost his life after allegedly having a sex romp with a married woman said to be his lover in a popular hotel located in the Akinjagunla area of Ondo town, on Sunday, January 21, 2024.
It was gathered that the woman called for public attention when the deceased passed out in the hotel room after the alleged sex romp.
Reports also added that the manager of the hotel and other residents were said to have approached the scene of the incident in a bid to save the man but all efforts failed as he was later confirmed dead.
A situation that prompted the management of the hotel to report the matter at the Yaba Divisional Police Station in the community.
Meanwhile, Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, who confirmed the incident on Tuesday, January 23 2024, revealed that two persons have been apprehended in connection with the victim’s death.
Odunlami disclosed that one of them was a girlfriend of the deceased while the second suspect was the owner of the hotel where the incident occurred.
“The man (deceased) was not feeling alright after the sexual intercourse with the lady in the hotel, so he was rushed to the hospital and later died. The two suspects are still in our custody,” she added.
While assuring that an investigation into the matter was still ongoing, the Police spokesperson stated that the remains of the deceased had already been deposited at a nearby mortuary.
