A contention over farmland has resulted to the death of two brothers in Adamawa State.
The two lost their lives when a man having a dispute with them over the disputed land fired a gun at them.
The Adamawa State Police Command, which has arrested the suspected killer identified as Mali Emmanuel, noted that the suspect had a disagreement with the victims over the farm located at Bori, in Jada LGA, which resulted into a fight.
The police said in a statement released by the Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje stated that; “in the course of the disagreement, Emmanuel used his dane gun and shot the victims, leading to their unfortunate death,”
Nguroje explained that the 31-year-old Mali Emmanuel who is a vigilante man, was arrested “for firing and killing of Emmanuel Hamma Shehu and Almond Hamma Shehu, all residents of Bori village, Koma District of Jada Local Government Area.”
He said investigations were ongoing, after which a legal action would be instituted against the suspect.
