Man Gives APC 72-Hour, Threatens to Poison Family Over Financial Hardship

A Nigerian man identified as Daniel Solomon has issued a 72-hour ultimatum to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to take custody of his six children, threatening to poison their food and kill his entire family if his demand is not met.
Solomon made the threat in a video sighted online by The News Chronicle on Saturday.
In the video, he appealed to the APC-led government to intervene and take his six children before the expiration of the 72-hour deadline.
According to him, his current situation was linked to the financial difficulties he allegedly experienced after selling his properties to support the APC during its campaign.
“I want the APC government to come and carry my six children from me before 72 hours. If after 72 hours they don’t come and take them, I will put something inside our food and all of us will die,” Solomon said.
He added, “I have not been able to get myself since I sold all my properties to campaign for APC.”
Solomon also provided further details about his circumstances in the video, explaining the difficulties he claimed to have faced since selling his properties.
The authenticity of the video and the full circumstances surrounding Solomon’s claims could not be independently verified as of the time of filing this report.
The threat has raised concerns about the safety and wellbeing of the six children and other members of the family, with calls likely to mount for relevant authorities to urgently intervene and ensure their protection.
