A 24-year-old identified as Grace Wangari has been killed by her boyfriend.
This development was disclosed by a Kenyan activist, Njeri Wa Migwi, on Thursday 25 January 2024.
Migwi, said the incident occurred on Saturday night, January 20, 2024.
According to her, neighbors said they heard screams from where the deceased stayed with her boyfriend and rushed to her rescue.
It was gathered that the boyfriend, identified as Clinton Mwangi, was assaulting Grace and had stabbed her multiple times.
The neighbors alarmed the police who rushed to the scene and rescued the woman who was taken to a health facility after sustaining head injuries.
She was later relocated to Kiambu Level Five Hospital where she was confirmed lifeless on arrival living behind a daughter.
According Police sources, she had bled intensely by the time she was rescued and taken to hospital.
The boyfriend was later apprehended at the scene and booked at Kasarani police cells for murder case.
As of press time, reasons behind his action have not been established.
