A tragic incident was reported in the early hours of Friday, January 2, 2026, in the Gweda Mallam area of Numan Local Government Area, Adamawa State, where a man was allegedly killed by his two sons.
The victim, identified by residents as Ogar ThankGod, a man living in Numan, was reportedly attacked and killed inside his residence at about 1:00 a.m.
According to community sources, the two suspects, said to be his sons, fled the scene immediately after the incident by jumping over the compound fence and are currently at large.
The shocking development has thrown the neighbourhood into mourning and disbelief. Security agencies have since commenced investigations and intensified efforts to track down and arrest the fleeing suspects.
Authorities are yet to issue an official statement as investigations continue.
