Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric has hinted the Los Blancos fans about his decision to retire at the club while he wishes to receive an encomium farewell like Toni Kroos who announced he will be retiring from Football after the 2024 Euros tournament some days ago.
“The decision on my future is made but I can’t tell you yet, you will know after the final”, told Cope.
“I’ve always said I want to retire at Real Madrid, this is what I really want. It’d be a dream as this is my home”.
“Real Madrid will always be the club of my life. I want a farewell like Toni Kroos, it was fantastic, emotional”.
Despite having his game numbers reduced, the 38 years has informed Madrid his intentions to remain at the club for next season. The chunks of young talents such as Tchoumeni, Valverde, Camavinga and Jude Bellingham in the club has diminished Kroos’ and Modric’s appearances like it was some years ago.
The Croatian joined Los Blancos from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012, contributing 39 goals and 86 assists to the club. Luka who never won a medal in his fours years with Tottenham could be retiring as one of the most decorated footballer of all time having won 24 trophies including four Champions League, four Spanish La Liga and many other trophies.
