The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has issued a solid rebuttal to recent viral videos featuring sensational testimonies from its members.
The Church labeled the footage as doctored and misleading to discredit its teachings and practices.
The controversial videos include testimonies of members claiming extraordinary experiences, such as riding on a lion and battling armed robbers. One testimony describes an individual being lifted and carried by a lion, while another recounts a woman taking control of robbers’ AK-47 rifles and ensuring their arrest. In yet another account, a man claims to have survived kidnapping and severe injuries without harm.
Pastor Chidi Louis, the Church’s Head of Public Relations and Media, condemned the videos as fabricated, asserting they were manipulated to distort the truth. He explained that the testimonies, initially shared by members, referred to dreams rather than actual events.
“The viral videos are a deliberate attempt to undermine the work of God,” Pastor Louis stated. “The full testimonies, available on our official platforms, provide the complete context and reveal that these experiences occurred in dreams, not in reality.”
The Church has urged the public to exercise caution and not believe everything seen on social media. It has also criticized certain bloggers for spreading misinformation, describing their actions as “wicked and devilish.”
In response, the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has released unedited versions of the testimonies on its TikTok handle and other official channels to clarify the situation and address the misconceptions created by the viral videos.
