Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin is facing an interim court order after a Lagos court restrained her from publishing content about Priscilla Ojo and her family, yet the actress has continued posting about the couple just days later.
On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, the High Court of Lagos State granted an interim order barring Anjorin from publishing, posting, circulating, uploading or broadcasting pictures of Priscilla Ojo and her husband Juma Jux’s one-year-old son, Rakeem Mkambala, on her social media pages. Justice Y.A. Adesanya, who presided over the case, also directed Anjorin and anyone acting on her behalf to stop posting editorials about Priscilla, Juma Jux and their son on the listed accounts. The application, filed under Suit No. LD/ADR/6646/2026, named Priscilla, her husband and their son as applicants.
The order listed several social media accounts linked to Anjorin, including @lizzyanjorin_originallawal, @lizzyanjorin_original, @lizzyanjorin_legal_mrslawal and @yeyemesho_luxuryfabric1, along with a Facebook page identified as Lizzyanjorin2. Priscilla shared a copy of the ruling on her Instagram page shortly afterward, a move many fans described as a clear win for her in the ongoing dispute with Anjorin.
Lizzy Anjorin, however, responded to the ruling with an Instagram Live session on Friday, September 4, where she questioned the validity of the order rather than address its terms. She argued that sharing a court letter publicly before it is formally served on the respondent renders the case void. “Your case na dead on arrival,” she said. “If you post court letter on any platform before serving person wey you wan go serve, that court case na fake court case.” She also dismissed suggestions that she had wronged Priscilla, adding, “I don’t want to hear that, Lizzy Anjorin locked Priscilla in prison oh.”
Two days after the order was issued, Anjorin returned to Instagram and Facebook with new posts about the family. She shared footage from a birthday party held for Juma Jux, who turned 37, showing baby Rakeem being carried by his nanny while pulling away as Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla’s mother, reached out to hold him. In the caption accompanying the clip, Anjorin claimed that the nanny, not Priscilla, resembled the child more closely, suggesting a question over the boy’s parentage. She also renewed accusations against Iyabo Ojo linked to the 2023 death of Afrobeats singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad.
The dispute between Anjorin and the Ojo family dates back several months and has played out largely on social media. Lizzy Anjorin had earlier criticised Iyabo Ojo for attending a friend’s wedding alongside Priscilla, suggesting the veteran actress could not afford to attend on her own. Priscilla responded that she is an adult who will not visit places she has not been invited to and said she was preparing a legal case against Anjorin. Anjorin, in turn, claimed to hold more than 500 pieces of evidence against Iyabo and Priscilla and said any legal case brought against her would not succeed.
Iyabo Ojo has previously sought legal redress against Anjorin without success. In 2024, a Lagos court dismissed a ₦1 billion defamation suit Iyabo had filed against Anjorin. Iyabo had earlier demanded a public apology from Anjorin or a payment of ₦500 million over what she described as libellous publications.
Amid the legal dispute, Iyabo Ojo and Priscilla have used social media to signal that a separate, unrelated rumour of a falling out with actress Toyin Abraham is untrue. On Friday, September 4, Toyin Abraham announced on Instagram that her new film, Bestie, will open in cinemas on December 16. Iyabo Ojo left a row of fist bump emojis under the post, while Priscilla reposted Toyin’s video on her own page, a gesture that fans took as confirmation that no rift exists between the three women.
As of Saturday morning, Lizzy Anjorin has not complied with the court order and continues to post content concerning Priscilla’s family. The matter remains before the Lagos State High Court, pending the hearing and determination of the substantive motion.
