Leicester City Signs Oliver Skipp from Tottenham Hotspur

Leicester City Football Club has announced the signing of Oliver Skipp from Tottenham Hotspur in a deal worth £25 million plus add-ons.

The English defensive midfielder has played for Manchester City, Norwich, and Tottenham before making the switch to newly promoted Leicester, who returned to the top-flight league just a season after missing out.
In his interview, he said:
I’m really excited to sign for Leicester,” Skipp stated.
It’s a club with a big history, having won the Premier League and FA Cup in recent times. You just have to look at the facilities here as well; it’s all got the set-up of a big club.
“I’m really excited to meet the players, meet the staff, and I’m sure we’ll have a good relationship, one that we can continue throughout the years to come.”
Skipp became Leicester City’s sixth summer signing, following Facundo Buonanotte’s loan arrival from Brighton & Hove Albion, as Leicester looks to push on from last season’s accomplishments.
Tottenham confirmed his departure on their social media pages, saying:
“We have reached an agreement with Leicester City for the permanent transfer of Oliver Skipp.
Wishing you all the best for the future, Skippy!”
