Lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye has publicly accused actor Yul Edochie of neglecting his responsibilities towards his children from his estranged wife, May.
In a detailed Instagram post, Ugwuonye claimed that Yul has stopped providing for his children and has instead directed them to rely on their mother for their needs, arguing that she now makes more money than he does.
Ugwuonye further elaborated that Yul’s actions are not just neglectful but also criminal. He pointed out that by marrying another woman, Judy, while still legally married to May, Yul has violated the law.
“Yul is currently not supporting his children in any way. He even told his daughter that their mother earns more than him now, which is astonishing. You want to practice polygamy but can’t fulfill your responsibilities to your children? That’s unacceptable.
Moreover, if you are married under the Marriage Act and you marry another person, you are committing a crime,” Ugwuonye stated.
