The Lagos state police command, has apologized for the mixup in the report of the arrest of a popularly EndSars Protester, Dj Switch in Lagos.
Recall that the Lagos State Police Command had earlier reported that DJ Switch was in their custody for allegedly assaulting female officers, obstructing arrest and preventing the police from carrying out their duty.
In a statement posted on his handle some minutes ago, Spokesman for Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin apologized for the mixup and has now clarified on which DJ was apprehended by the force.
‘’There is a mixup from our end. Arrested person is DJ Commissioner Wysei not DJ Switch. Apologies for all inconveniences to a few media outfits like Lindaikeji, BBC and TVC that I gave confirmation this morning. Apologies to DJ Switch too.” He clarifies.
