Lady Gaga is officially engaged, and she’s proudly sharing the news.
The singer and actress made a dazzling appearance on Wednesday at the Venice Film Festival, marking her first red carpet event with her new fiancé, Michael Polansky.
Gaga, 38, flashed a large diamond engagement ring while attending the premiere of her latest film, *Joker: Folie à Deux*.
Earlier in the week, the typically private couple was spotted enjoying a romantic boat ride around Venice, where Gaga showed off her sparkling ring.
The engagement was first confirmed during the 2024 Paris Olympics when Gaga introduced Polansky to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, referring to him as “my fiancé.”
Gaga and Polansky were first romantically linked in 2020 after being seen together during a Super Bowl weekend in Miami.
In the past, Lady Gaga has shared her fear of being alone forever due to her fame. The 38-year-old, who recently announced her engagement, expressed relief that she’s no longer single.
“I thought I was going to have to do this all by myself—forever. And that was really scary. It’s a big life, and unless you’re in it, you can’t really understand. Now, I don’t have to do it alone,” Gaga said in an interview with *Vogue*.
She described her fiancé as a “supportive, loving human being” who wanted to get to know her beyond her celebrity status.
“I had been so focused on my career since I was a teenager. But during that time, I got to completely focus on my relationship. I met this wonderful person who truly wanted to know me outside of Lady Gaga,” she added.
Gaga also revealed that it was her mother who introduced her to Polansky, leading to their deep connection.
