La Liga side Cádiz CF to honour late Nigerian rapper, Mohbad

La Liga side Cádiz CF is set to honour and commiserate with Nigerians and the family of the late rapper Mohabd whose death has generated quite an interest in the country.

Mohbad died on 12 September 2023, with a cause of death yet to be known. The 27-year-old rapper was a former signee of the Marlian record, last year Mohbad left the record following a feud and his being threatened – a development that has generated massive requests for justice and culprits to be brought to book.

The Nigerian counterpart of the La Liga side Cádiz CF posted this development on X page:

“@iammohbad_ will be with us for tomorrow’s home game against Rayo Vallecano.

The singer’s Cadista shirt will be on the bench to give us the strength we need to win the match.”

The club asserted that a jersey with Mohbad’s name will be on their bench when they take on Rayo Vallecano tomorrow.

Recall that as Nigerians seek justice for the late rapper, the Nigerian Police have dug up his remains for an autopsy to ascertain the actual cause of his sudden death.
