Kogi Government to Leverage AI for Enhanced Security

The Kogi state government has announced plans to deploy Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to combat crime more effectively. 
This initiative emphasizes Governor Ododo’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology into the state’s security framework.
In a related development, Chief Iweha O. Empire has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant on Surveillance.
His appointment letter was handed over by Mrs. Folashade Ayoade Arike, the Secretary to the State Government, in a ceremony that highlighted the administration’s dedication to improving security measures.
Chief Empire emphasized the critical role of public participation in crime prevention.
He called on the community to collaborate closely with security agencies, stressing that community involvement is essential for the success of any security initiative.
During the ceremony, Chief Empire acknowledged the efforts of former governor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, praising his foundational work in establishing a robust security infrastructure in Kogi state.
Chief Empire also announced his philanthropic commitment, pledging scholarships to the children of four journalists and urging community members to support each other.
