Amidst claims that the armed kidnappers were said to be of the Fulani extraction, the X user chided the Nasarawa state Governor Abdullahi Sule for facilitating the launching of a 2140-man Nomad Fulani Vigilant Group in the state.

Recall that the president of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a fulani socio-cultural association Abdullahi Bello Bodejo, had earlier announced the launch date for a Nomad Vigilante Group in Nasarawa state.

Publicity Secretary of the Association, Mallam Suleiman Tasiu, revealed in a statement that the event is scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the City Square in Lafia, starting at 11 am.

In the statement, the association extended invitations to Governor Abdullahi Sule, top government officials, and other stakeholders to attend the event as special guests.

Also, prominent Fulbe personalities in the state have also been invited to partake in what was described as a historic occasion.
