Key Into my Husband’s Vision, Oluremi Tinubu Tells Youth

—

Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, has urged the nation’s youth to align themselves with government initiatives and objectives.

She emphasized that this alignment will enable them to fully utilize the available opportunities.

Speaking during a meeting with executives and members of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) at her office in the State House, Abuja, Senator Oluremi Tinubu highlighted the importance of promoting unity over ethnic or cultural divisions.

She stressed the need for Nigerian identity and unity, while also advocating for mentoring relationships between older and younger generations, drawing parallels with biblical teachings.

Senator Tinubu emphasized the positive use of technology among youths.

She shared details of her office’s programs, including the Unity Fabric competition with a prize of N25 million and the Every Home A Garden competition with a prize of N20 million, both part of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).

Additionally, she encouraged the guests to spread the message of investing in others’ lives.

In response, the National Chairman of YOWICAN, Enwere Belusochukwu, praised the First Lady’s initiatives, particularly those under the RHI.

He sought her input on proposed activities such as a quarterly Breakfast Prayer Meeting for Christian and Muslim youth and the establishment of a National Christian Youth Resource Center, which will include a skill acquisition center.

As a token of appreciation, the executives presented Senator Tinubu with an Easter card and the association’s uniform.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu was honored as the Grand Patroness of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association in July 2023.
