The Katsina State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KTSCHMA) has been honored with the “Best State Health Insurance Agency of the Year 2024” award at the National Healthcare Excellence Awards in Lagos. This is the second time Katsina State has received this award, having also won in 2022.

Katsina State was nominated alongside other prominent states, including Lagos, Adamawa, Kano, and Anambra.

The win highlights the unwavering commitment of the Katsina State administration, led by Executive Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, to the health and well-being of its citizens.

Governor Radda’s leadership and strategic investments in healthcare have been pivotal to this recognition.

Under his guidance, KTSCHMA has implemented innovative approaches, forged strategic partnerships, and worked tirelessly to enhance healthcare outcomes, access, and affordability for the people of Katsina.

In response to the award, Governor Radda expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Honorable Commissioner of Health, Dr. Bishir Gambo Saulawa, the Chairman of the KTSCHMA Governing Board, the Director General, his management team, and all stakeholders who contributed to this remarkable achievement.

“This award reaffirms our administration’s dedication to excellence in healthcare service delivery. We remain committed to building on this success and further enhancing the quality of healthcare available to every resident of Katsina State,” Governor Radda remarked.
