Karu Local Government Council Imposes Night Curfew Due to Rising Security Concerns

The Karu Local Government Council in Nasarawa State has announced a night curfew that will be in effect from 6 pm to 6 am every day, starting immediately.

This decision was made in response to increasing security concerns within the state. The announcement came from the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. James B. Thomas, also known as Jarumin Kodape, on Thursday.

According to the Chairman, the curfew will affect everyone. This means that no one will be allowed to move around between 6 pm and 6 am. This includes motorcyclists, tricycle riders, shop owners, and motorists.

A statement signed by Danbaba Uba Magaji, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, confirmed that the curfew will continue until further notice.

The curfew is a measure aimed at enhancing security and ensuring the safety of all residents in Karu Local Government Area.
