Kano Islamic Council Suspends Lawal Triumph Pending Probe

An influential Islamic cleric, Sheikh Lawal Abubakar (popularly known as Lawal Triumph), has been suspended from all preaching and teaching activities on Wednesday evening.

The Kano State Shura Council ordered the suspension while it looks into allegations against him.
