The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested TikTok content creator Ukasha Yahaya, popularly known as UK International, over videos showing him hugging, bathing and engaging in other activities with women.
Deputy Commander General of the board, Dr Mujahid Aminuddeen, confirmed the arrest on Thursday, September 17, 2026, saying the 27-year-old was apprehended after intelligence indicated that he had entered Kano State, The News Chronicle reports.
Aminuddeen said Ukasha remained in custody while investigations into the videos continued.
Ukasha, a native of Gusau, Zamfara State, who resides in Abuja, reportedly admitted during interrogation that he could not remember the number of videos he had produced featuring women.
Some of the videos showed him dancing with, hugging or carrying women, while others captured swimming and bathing scenes.
The content creator said some of his videos had attracted between one million and three million views, adding that the women featured in them approached him because of his status as a content creator.
When asked whether he could feature his sisters in similar videos, Ukasha said all of them were married and disclosed that his mother and other people had repeatedly cautioned him against such content.
He also said he was considering quitting the type of content as he prepares for marriage.
Ukasha apologised for his actions and pledged not to repeat them.
Reports say, his TikTok account, UK INTERNATIONAL, has more than 262,000 followers, follows 26 accounts and has amassed 2.4 million likes.
Aminuddeen said the suspect would be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations.
He also warned youths against using TikTok to promote activities that violate accepted moral and religious values.
