Kaduna legislator alerts to ongoing assaults on Kajuru communities

The representative for Kajuru Local Government Area in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Honorable Usman Danlami Stingo, spoke up during a meeting about a serious problem facing his community.

He’s worried that if nothing is done soon, criminal groups, like bandits, could take over Kajuru.

Stingo talked about how bad things have been in Kajuru. He mentioned that kidnappings started in 2017 and got worse in 2019, with many villages being attacked by terrorists.

He sadly recalled an awful day in March 2019 when 71 people were killed in Dogo Nnoma Community because of terrorism.

He also mentioned a recent incident where a man and his daughter were attacked while riding their motorcycle.

He said that many people have been killed and their homes destroyed during these attacks. Just recently, he reported that 61 people were kidnapped from Buda Hausa Community.

Stingo is upset that despite these problems, the security agencies haven’t done enough to stop the attacks.

He wants the Kaduna State House of Assembly to take action by talking to the security agencies and finding a way to make things safer in Kajuru and Kaduna State.

He’s worried about how these attacks are affecting the lives and jobs of people in his community and the state.

Similarly, Barely five days after bandits kidnapped 287 students and teachers in Kuriga, the bandits struck again on Tuesday morning as they kidnapped 61 residents of Buda Hausa community in Kajuru local government of Kaduna state, Nigeria.

The bandits stormed Buda Hausa in the early hours of Tuesday when the people were sleeping, shooting sporadically to scare the residents as they went away with 61 people 32 females and 29 males.
