American singer Justin Timberlake has been arrested in New York.
Reports say he was arrested on Monday night in Sag Harbor, a village in the Hamptons.
According to Newsday, a police spokesperson and a Sag Harbor Justice Court official confirmed that Timberlake was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).
The Suffolk County district attorney’s office stated that he will be arraigned in court on Tuesday.
This arrest happened during Timberlake’s ‘The Forget Tomorrow World Tour.’ He is set to perform in Chicago this weekend and in New York City next week.
