Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber joyfully announced on Friday, August 23, the birth of their first child, a baby boy named Jack Blues Bieber.
The couple, who have been married since 2018, shared the news on Instagram, with Justin posting a touching photo of baby Jack’s tiny foot alongside the caption, “WELCOME HOME.” Hailey reshared the post on her Instagram Story, adding a blue heart emoji to celebrate the arrival of their newborn.
Friends and family of the couple expressed their excitement on social media. Kylie Jenner, a close friend, commented on Justin’s post, writing, “I can’t handle this little foot JACK BLUES.”
Alfredo Flores, Justin’s longtime friend, also congratulated the couple, saying, “Congratulations!!! I’m sooooooooooo excited!!! Love y’all down.” Rapper Ice Spice joined in, sharing her joy and confessing, “Baby fever up 1000.”
The birth of baby Jack comes three months after the couple first announced they were expecting.
Hailey, 27, wore a stunning white lace Saint Laurent gown that showed her baby bump, while Justin, 30, sported a black jacket and an Atlanta Braves baseball hat.
Hailey had previously opened up about her desire for children, while also expressing her fears about parenthood. In a May 2024 interview with The Sunday Times, she admitted, “I literally cry about this all the time! I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.”
Meanwhile, Justin has long looked forward to starting a family. Back in 2020, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he shared, “I’d love to have myself a little tribe… I am going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out—it’s her body and whatever she wants to do.”
Throughout her pregnancy, Hailey kept fans updated on her journey, sharing details such as her unusual pregnancy cravings. On May 15, she posted on Instagram about a snack she was loving at the time: “Egg salad on top of a pickle with hot sauce,” adding humorously, “And no, you’re not allowed to judge!!!”
