Justice Ayo Isa Salami, who was suspended as President of the Court of Appeal by  the National Judicial Council (NJC) has reportedly tended his notification of retirement. He is set to retire on October 15 2013 when he turns 70.

Though Justice Salami was reinstated  as President of the Court of Appeal on May 10 2012, he was effectively kept away from resuming duties by a combination of politics and series of lawsuits including the one he instituted challenging his suspension by the NJC.

  1. Happy retirement! Let the younger generation be aculturated into system and let them continue where the older generations stopped.
