Yobe State Governor, Honorable Mai Mala Buni has submitted the 2025 budget proposal of N320.8 billion to the state assembly for approval.
In the proposed budget, N176.96 billion, making up 55.1% of the total, has been allocated to capital expenditure. Meanwhile, N144.04 billion, which represents 44.9%, is earmarked for recurrent expenditure.
The governor emphasized that priority areas in this budget include education, healthcare, road infrastructure, and empowerment programs for women and youth.
