Reports have it that two students of the Nasarawa state University Keffi have lost their lives in a stampede following the distribution of palliatives by the Nasarawa state government in Keffi LGA Nasarawa state.
The incident occurred at the Convocation Square of the Institution in the early hours of Friday 22 March 2024.
Recall that the Nasarawa state governor Abdullahi Sule has flagged off the distribution of palliatives and five thousand naira stipend to students of the of the tertiary institutions in the state with the state owned university scheduled to received it own today.
As of the time of filing this report details behind the incident were still sketchy.
