The Supreme Court has commenced the delivery of judgment on an appeal filed by the governorship candidate of the NNPP, Yusuf Abba. Abba is challenging the decision of the appellate court that upturn his mandate as the duly elected governor of Kano state.
Recall that the lower court had in November the lower court nullified the election of Abba and declared Nasiru Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress winner of the election.
As at press time, Justice John Okoro is currently reading the lead judgment.
