JUST IN: Obaseki Names 38-Year-Old Engineer As New Deputy Gov

The governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has appointed a 38-year-old Engineer, Omobayo Marvellous Godwin, as his new deputy and is set for inauguration.

This development is coming on the heels of the impeachment of the former deputy governor, Philip Shaibu, by the state’s House of Assembly on Monday April 8.

The panel set up for the impeachment proceedings of the former deputy gov, Shuaibu noted that the Shuaibu was impeached for leaking the state government’s secrets.
