JUST IN: El-Rufai Released on Bail Pending Trial Outcome

The former Kaduna State governor, who has been in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission, was reportedly granted bail on Tuesday.

The development was disclosed in a post on X by political commentator Imran Wakili.

“Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has been granted bail by the Federal High Court,” Wakili wrote.

The former FCT Minister is standing trial over alleged corrupt practices during his tenure as governor of Kaduna State, The News Chronicle reports.
