JUST IN: Boko Haram Kill Four Farmers in Gwoza, Borno State

Four farmers have been killed in the Kirawa community, located in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, by suspected Boko Haram terrorists. 

According to source, the victims were attacked while working on their farms. Bukar Umar Aji, the Councillor representing Kirawa Jimini Ward and the Speaker of the Gwoza Local Government Council, confirmed the incident, on Friday.

Aji called for increased security in the farming community to help protect residents and support their livelihood. Yakubu Mabba Ali, Chairman of the Kirawa Development Association, expressed concern that these attacks on farmers will exacerbate the challenges faced by communities that are in the process of rebuilding after years of insurgency.
