In the early hours of Sunday, June 16, gunmen attacked Dudun Doki village, located in the Gwadabawa local government area of Sokoto State.Â
According to emerging reports, the suspected gunmen stormed the village around 1:30 a.m, resulting in the killing and abduction of many.
Witnesses report that over ten people were killed in the attack. In addition to the tragic loss of life, many villagers were abducted by the assailants, leaving the community in shock and mourning.
