Journalist, 20 others discharged as Bauchi records 3 new positive case

A journalist and 20 others who tested positive for COVID-19 have recovered and discharged, according to a second test by the NCDC which turned out negative to COVID-19 even as three new positive cases were recorded.

This was contained in the Bauchi COVID 19 situation report, which was made available to journalists in Bauchi.

After weeks of treatment at the various treatment centres in the state, all their results came out negative and they were discharged on Sunday.

The total number of patients that have so far recovered from the virus after testing negative as of Sunday is 89.

According to the report, a total number of active cases who are on hospitals admission at the various treatment centres in the state is 123, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 215.
