Joining APC Is Not On The Card- NNPP

A chieftain of the All Nigeria Peoples’ Party NNPP Buba Galadima has described as senseless the call by the APC national Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje for NNPP stakeholders in Kano state to defect to the ruling APC.

Speaking on AriseNews on Monday 29 January 2024 Galadima who revealed that the APC Chairman was wise by half, said that it was rather absurd for him(Ganduje) to appeal to  Rabiu Kwakwanso in the manner he that he did.

Galadima who stated that the immediate past governor of the state should have been seen on bended knees apologizing to Kwankwaso, maintained that the APC Chairman only succeeded in ridiculing the president in a woeful attempt to woo NNPP stakeholders in Kano state into the party.

He averred that the NNPP is open to discussion with any party as evident in its various meetings with the leadership of other major political parties but that does not equate to jumping ship to other political parties stressing that the plan is not on the card.

The NNPP chieftain also stated that the Kano State government led by Abba Kabir Yusuf stand as the best among equals going by the governor’s track records since assumption of office.

Galadima commended that Supreme Court for redeeming its image as evident in the recent judgment that saw the declaration of the NNPP candidate as the duly elected governor of Kano state.
