Joeboy Sheds Light on Domestic Violence with Hit Song “Better”

Singer Joseph Akinfenwaa Donus, also known as Joeboy, shared the story behind his popular song “Better.”

In an interview with media personality Vivz, Joeboy explained that he wrote the song to highlight domestic violence against women.

He mentioned that women in African society are sometimes not treated well.

Vivz commented, “‘Better’ is my favorite song. It feels like you’re speaking up for a woman who has been mistreated by a man.”

Joeboy responded, “Domestic abuse happens a lot in African society. Women are often mistreated. I wanted to bring attention to this issue.”
