Jaiz Bank Donates N10 Million to Support Gwoza Bomb Blast Victims in Borno 

Jaiz Bank has donated N10 million to support the victims of the recent bomb blast in Gwoza, Borno State, on Thursday.

The donation was presented to the Borno State government by Alhaji Muhammed Mustapha Bintube, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jaiz Bank, during a visit to the Government House in Maiduguri.

During the presentation, Alhaji Bintube expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and commended the state government for its swift and effective response to the tragic incident.

He highlighted that the bank’s contribution is aimed at alleviating the suffering of those affected and is part of Jaiz Bank’s commitment to giving back to the community, especially in times of crisis.

Alhaji Bintube stated, “We at Jaiz Bank are deeply saddened by the recent events in Gwoza. It is our duty and privilege to support the community during such challenging times. We hope this donation will help provide some relief and support to the victims and their families.”

Acting Governor Dr. Umar Usman Kadafur received the donation on behalf of the state government and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Jaiz Bank for their timely and thoughtful gesture.

He assured that the funds would be utilized effectively to provide medical support and other necessary assistance to the victims of the bomb blast.

Dr. Kadafur remarked, “We are immensely grateful to Jaiz Bank for their support. This donation comes at a crucial time and will significantly aid our efforts in providing the needed relief and medical care to those affected by the tragic incident in Gwoza.”
