It was Wizkid, Olamide, and Myself, before you— Yung6ix replies Davido
Nigerian singer, Onome Onokohwomo, popularly known as Yung6ix, has responded to Davido’s claim that Wizkid and him paved ways for other artists in Nigeria.
Davido in an interview claimed Wizkid and he pioneered the growth of other artists in Nigeria.
Yung6ix who appeared not to agree with Davido’s view reacted saying Wizkid, Olamide and himself are ahead of Davido when it comes to paving way for other artists. The rapper also said that there were other musicians ahead of Davido which he should acknowledge.
He said, “You know I got nothing but love for you. Here ain’t anything but a lit bit of straightening, so let’s get it straight. So, it was Wizkid, Olamide, and it was Yung6ix before it was you.
“There was a lot of people that has emotions but the big homies. We were the youngins . I don’t even know wetin happened. No, tell me say you done dey smoke on colos. David, I dey stay California now legit for here. Everybody they standard.”
