Comedian Bovi Ugboma shared his thoughts on a troubling video where Namtira Bwala was bullied by a classmate at Lead British School.
In the video, a girl named Maryam Hassan is seen slapping Namtira repeatedly, trying to scare her.
On Instagram, Bovi expressed happiness knowing that polite and calm children still exist in Nigeria.
He suggested counseling for the bullied girl to prevent further harm and warned other schools to take notice.
Bovi also criticized the relative who slapped the bully, noting that while understandable, it’s still wrong by the law. He emphasized the need to stop violence and promote civility for everyone’s sake.
A lot of people applauded Bovi for how he analyzed the whole matter leaving no stone unturned, this is also a call to the society at large to do better.
