The latest version of the iPhone, iPhone 15 Pro-max will sell at a naira equivalent starting at N1.1 million assuming the current exchange rate of N930/$1. The price was unveiled at the event held in Cupertino, California, Apple Inc. (AAPL)
With Nigeria’s 24% inflation rate, this latest version can only be afforded by an elite few.
Four variants of the newest iPhone model were revealed. They include; iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
- iPhone 15 is priced at $799 (approximately ₦742,270), serving as the entry-level model
- iPhone 15 Plus is priced at $899 (approximately ₦835,470)
- iPhone 15 Pro is priced at $999 (approximately ₦928,670) and,
- iPhone 15 Pro Max is priced at $1,199 (approximately ₦1,114,920).
According to the global giant company, the iPhones represent the very best of Apple innovations, featuring a strong and lightweight titanium design, a new Action button, powerful camera upgrades, and an A17 Pro.
Pre-orders will open on September 15, with availability starting September 22.
They will be available in four stunning new finishes, including black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.
