I have had sex with more than 2,000 Women- Lamar Odom

NBA legend and ex husband of Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom in an excerpt released to People, admitted to being a sex addict. In the book, Odom wrote that he’d had sex with more than 2,000 women.

“I’ve had sex with more than 2000 women. There were too many strippers to count,” he writes. “It wasn’t a big deal, but often I would pay them. I never thought less of them.”

Lamar also shed more light on his struggle with addiction in his new memoir, Darkness to Light. He explained that his sex addiction was also a trigger for him to do drugs, and enabled him to cheat on Khloe Kardashian while they were married.

“I wish I could have been more of a man,” Odom reflects. “It still bothers me to this day. But regret is something we have to learn to live with.”

Odom was hospitalized back in October 2015 for a near-fatal drug overdose after being found unconscious in a room at the Love Ranch Brothel in Nevada, an experience Odom says was “the wake-up call” for him and the catalyst for his journey to sobriety and recovery.

Odom spent months recuperating after his brush with death, and received a lot of public support from his estranged wife, Kardashian, before they eventually finalized their divorce more than a year later.

Although he is drug-free, he admits that he’s still working through his demons.

“I’m still an addict,” he writes in his book. “I still struggle but I will not go into the darkness ever again.”

Darkness to Light is out May 28.
