I Fear for My Life — Alleged Fake Presidential DG Speaks as Police Move to Arraign Him

Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the man accused of forging government appointment letters and posing as the Director-General of the non-existent Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) and Presidential Economic Advisory Council (PEAC), has claimed his life is in danger as he faces criminal prosecution.

In an interview on Channels Television monitored by The News Chronicle, Adeyemi denied going into hiding, insisting he was only staying away for fear of being killed.

“I’m ready to show my face. I’m not hiding. I’m only fearing for my life because I have it on good authority that my life is in danger. There have been several attempts on my life,” he said.

He further alleged that multiple attempts had been made on his life but did not reveal who was allegedly behind the threats.

Adeyemi’s comments come amid the growing controversy surrounding the purported PFIPC, which the Presidency has repeatedly dismissed as a fictitious government agency.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force has concluded plans to arraign him before the Federal High Court in Abuja on charges of forgery, impersonation and other related offenses.

According to the charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025, Adeyemi and two others face an eight-count charge bordering on forgery, impersonation and related offenses.

Police investigators also alleged that before his arrest, Adeyemi operated the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council from the second floor of the Federal Secretariat Complex, Phase III, Abuja.
