Suppose you’re an immigration officer and an odd traveller
hands you his/her passport and divulges: Check, but I operate
outside of natural laws or physical science. I read your mind.
What would you do or say? What do you make of these words?
A bunch of bluffs? Is he not sick or haunted? All bark and no bite?
What if he tells you that he truly sees that you take him as an oddity?
You can see and smell his strange bag of basils and tree barks,
you begin to imagine powers, subtleties and sizes, and someone’s
sensitivities around the nonphysical, parapsychological, or paranormal.
Would you shudder at the phenomena and powers of the traveller
and fretfully put a stamp on his/her passport page and let him /her enter?
Do you believe some souls have psychic energy and can predict the future?
Do you believe in the seeming gift to gain information about an object
through perception beyond normal sensory contact, or to connect with spirits
or to shift or impact physical objects using only the mind? Have you seen a psychic?
Â
What has informed your view of clairvoyance, telepathy, mediumship and psychokinesis?
