House of Rep Member Launches Grant Scheme to Support Local Farmers in Sokoto

Honourable Abdussamad Dasuki, the representative for Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, officially kicked off a new grant scheme aimed at supporting local farmers, traders, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), on Friday.
The initiative, called “It’s Coming,” is now underway, with teams from Dasuki’s office actively distributing cheques to beneficiaries in the Kuchi district of Kebbe Local Government Area.
As part of this initiative, Dasuki’s team will be traveling to various markets, farms, and business hubs to identify and provide financial assistance to eligible SME owners.
This grant scheme is part of Dasuki’s commitment to fulfilling a campaign promise and is designed to enhance local economies while bringing governance closer to the people.
Dasuki has pledged that this grant distribution will be an ongoing effort, with plans to conduct these exercises on a monthly basis.
The goal is to ensure that every SME within the constituency receives the support they need to thrive.
One notable beneficiary, Bashar Umar Tambuwal, expressed gratitude for the support and committed to using the grant to purchase additional seedlings and farm inputs.
Tambuwal also urged other political leaders in the state to follow Dasuki’s lead and extend similar support to those in need.
This initiative brings much-needed relief to constituents grappling with economic difficulties.
By investing in local businesses and agriculture, Honourable Dasuki underscores his dedication to fostering growth and development in the Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency.
