The son of the late vociferous politicians emphasized that the best way to honour his late parents, was for government to prioritize lifting the suffering Nigerian masses out of poverty.
While commenting on the assailants of his late mother Abdulmumuni who underscored the importance of reconciliation and unity, stressed the need to put things behind and chart a good course for the country.
28 years ago, Nigerian pro-democracy campaigner Kudirat Abiola was assassinated on June 4th whilst her husband, Moshood Abiola, was being detained by the Nigerian Government.
Recall that after declaring himself president, late Moshood Abiola, was declared wanted and was accused of treason and arrested on the orders of military President General Sani Abacha, who sent 200 police vehicles to bring him into custody.
